Note: Obituary from The Saginaw News Sep 22, 1998 Tue (C7) "Loeffler, Walter H., Bradenton, Florida, Formerly of Saginaw, Mich. Died Saturday, September 19, 1998 at his home. Age 74 years. Walter was born July 24, 1924 to the late Walter and Irma Loeffler. He had been employed by Doyle Freight Lines and later Great Lakes Express. Surviving are three sons, William and his wife Deborah, Freeland; Arthur and his wife Cheryl, Frankenmuth; Carl and his wife Mercedes, Bradington, Florida; six grandchildren, Jennifer Barris, Mark Loeffler, Michael Loeffler, Michelle Loeffler, Drew Loeffler and Kyle Loeffler; three sisters, Ruth and her husband Roy Grobe, Lita and her husband Richard Harrington and Maureen Brechtelsbauer. He was predeceased by one sister Clare Mueller. Memorial service will take place 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 1998 at Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel. Rev. Asa Compton will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth."
