 Stephen - Leonard R. Stallock, 71, died Friday, October 16, 1998 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
  Funeral services were held on Monday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stephen with Father August Gothman officiating. Music was provided by St. Stephen Church Choir and organist Marilyn Hanson. Casketbearers were Scott Salentine, Eric Salentine, Roger Stallock, Gregory Borowicz, Russell Grandstrand and Tommy Stallock. Burial was in St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery in Stephen. Military honors were accorded by Stephen American Legion Post 30. The Adamson-Austin Funeral Home of Stephen was in charge of the arrangements.
  Leonard Ralph Stallock was born on February 7, 1927 at Florian, the son of Anzelm and Polly (Pietruzewski) Staloch. He attended rural school at Florian and also attended school at Karlstad.
  On January 25, 1951 he married Eulalie Nelson at Greenbush. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In 1953 Leonard and Eulalie moved to Stephen where Leonard was employed as a mechanic at Halfmann Ford and Benson Construction. He was later employed by Borowicz Construction Company.
  During his retirement years, Leonard enjoyed woodworking and helping his daughter and son-in-law farm. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church of Stephen and Stephen American Legion 390.
  Leonard is survived by his wife, Eulalie of Stephen; two daughters, Sheila (Tony) Salentine of Euclid and Joy (Dan) Ostlund of Warroad; one son, Mike Stallock of Fargo, ND; four grandchildren; one brother, Conrad (Evelyn) Stallock of Karlstad; two daughters, Lorraine (Henry) Bengtson of Karlstad and Sharon (John) Moneta of Ham Lake; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James, Robert and Rudolph; and one sister, Delphine Borowicz.
