By 1930 they lived in Topeka, where Frank worked as a machinist and Margaret was a seamstress. They were caring for both Margaret’s brother, Clarence, and her father James Sales, in their home. Pike (parents were born in PA– probably related to Aunt Elizabeth (Adams) Pike’s husband). In 1920 Margaret and Frank were living in Ozawkie Kansas, where they farmed. They were caring for both Margaret’s brother, Clarence, and her father James Sales, in their home, as Mary Adams Sales had just died in December. Apparently Margaret did not have any children. Uncle Gene said “Aunt Margie” was very religious, somewhat psychic, and participated in revivals and healings.
