 Walter H. Heffron Jr.,a former aircraft mechanic at Chevron Oil Co., died Feb. 25 of
 congestive heart failure in P ass Christian, Miss. He was 67. Mr. Heffron was born in
  New Orleans and lived in Waveland, Miss., in recent years. He attended Fortier High
 School and Delgado Community College. He was a
 Navy veteran of World War II. He was
  a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, a former parishioner of
 St. Maria Goretti Church in New Orleans and a member of Immaculate H eart of Mary
  Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Anglade Heffron;
  two sons, Walter Heffron III of Mobile, Ala., and Francis X. Heffron of Denver;
  three daugh
 ters, Annette H. Sawicki of Federal Way, Wash., and Una Maria Bolen
 and Beth Heffron, both of New Orleans; a brother, Cashman J. Heffron of Chalmette;
  two sisters, Freda Haskins of Chalm
 ette and Elsie Atkinson of Brandon, Miss.; and
  17 grandchildren. A Mass was said Wednesday in Bay St. Louis, Miss. Burial was in
 Cypress Grove Cemetery in New Orleans.
