Note: wn. However, Samuel's father may have been David Rinker. The baptismal records of Tohickon Union Church, Bedminster Twp., Bucks Co., PA, show that a David Rinker and his wife (not named) has son named Samuel Rinker, born 2 February 1805 and baptized 13 July 1805. The sponsors at the baptism were Geo. Sheib and his wife, Catharine. The date of birth of this Samuel Rinker is not the same, although close, to the date of birth of the Samuel Rinker in this genealogy.
In 1850 Samuel Rinker (indexed as Samel Renker), age 46, a laborer, was living in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Maria Rinker, age 35, and four children:

In 1870 Samuel Rinker (listed as Ringer), age 60, a day laborer, was living in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Mary Rinker, age 64. Also listed in their household was James Leiser (listed as a Rinker), age 13. All were born in PA. (1870 census, microfilm roll M593_1363; Page: 499A, house #374, family #419)
In 1880 Samuel Rinker, b. in PA, age 76, a widower, was living in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his daughter:
- Isabella Rinker, b. in PA, age 41, a widow Also listed in their household were two boarders: James Leiser (listed as Lyzer), born in Bavaria, age 22, a laborer; and Albert Hardneck, born in Bavaria, age 43, a laborer (both single).
