Notes
a. Note:   In the 1881 census Christina was recorded as being a student. In the 1891 census she was a Button holer and living at home with her mother and 3 sisters. One small piece of trivia, the registrar who signed Christina's birth certificate, James Struthers was the same registrar who signed her marriage certificate some 30 years later. Her sister Flora was a witness at her wedding to William Andrew McMeechan In the 1901 census Christina was living with her husband, step-daughters and two sons as well as mother in 113 Renfrew St, Blysthwood, Glasgow. Sometime after 1918 Christina left William to live separately from him. Christina made a Poor relief application in 1935 but had stated that her husband had died in WW1, when he was actually still alive. Her application was denied due to the giving of false information. On her death certificate her usual residence was 51 Parliamentary Rd, Glasgow but she died at Barnhill Poorhouse, 654 Edgefauld Rd of Senility and myocarditis. Her son Daniel Barker McMeechan signed the death certificate.
