The baptism lists her name as Agnes Christine Hansen. This is the only place we've seen her middle name spelt this way. Her sponsors are listed as Niels and Cecilie Nielsen. On the 1910 Middlesex Co., NJ census, Agnes Hansen was listed as daughter of Soren H. Hansen, age 1, born in NJ, but her parents were born in Denmark. On the 1920 Middlesex Co., NJ census, Agnes Hansen was listed as daughter of Henry, age 10, single, born in NJ, but her parents were born in Denmark. A certificate of church membership was issued to Agnes from The New Providence Methodist church of New Providence, NJ on 14 Nov 1943. A certificate of church membership was issued to Agnes from Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church on 10 Feb 1952. Agnes graduated from high school in 1927 and went to Muhlenberg Hospital where she received her nursing training. Verna remembers Agnes sewing doll clothes for her. Agnes is listed on her Ohio Drivers License as 5 foot 3 inches, 125 pounds, with blue eyes. She had a Registerd Nurse license from the state of NY and NJ and they were issued on 15 Oct 1930. The notice from the Social Security Administration showed that Agnes's first Social Security check would be for $71.70 dated 7 Jan 1971. The funeral allotment to Agnes after the death of her husband, George Crawford, was for $225 and was received on 12 Jan 1972 along with the first monthly benefit check of $173.60.
