Note: Lottie Lewinski Pedersen outlived her husband Harold by more than five years. They lived in various apartments throughout their life, and moved to a brand new Senior Apartment in Mt. Prospect, Illinois less than one year before her husband Harold died. After that she moved to the home of her son Harold where she remained until her death. Lottie had mild glucoma, heart and asthma problems, needed a lot of medications, and was not able to live alone comfortably. While her husband Harold was sick with cancer of the lung, she stayed for a while with daughter Sandra in Mt. Prospect. Then moved to her son's home in Addison, Illinois because his children were older and created less noise at home. When her husband Harold was released from the hospital, her son Harold had two hospital beds in his family room, one for each of them. Both untimately died in their son's family room in Addison, Illinois. Her daughter-in-law Karen was very good to Lottie, and was with her until her death.
