Note: Larry Cornell Willis September 6, 1950 - September 29, 1994 Larry was raised in Fresno, California. He had two sisters Jimmie Louise and Ethel Jean. Ethel died in 1954 from complications of Asthma. She had just graduated with a degree in Criminal Science. Jimmie retired from the Fresno school system in 2005 and had been a Special Education teacher. Larry�s father worked as a building contractor in diverse areas as the Alaska oilfields, on the pipeline and at the first Disneyland in Anaheim. His mother was a nutritionist with the Fresno County School System. Larry was a graduate in Journalism from Fresno State University. He worked for the telephone company while going to school and remained with them after graduation ending up in the engineering department. After his partner, Bob Sanders, retired to the Palm Springs area, Larry took a job as a manager of a local Thrifty Drug Store. Larry was very close to his family and a great mentor to his nephews, Anthony and Rod. Larry�s interests were music, traveling, sailing with his partner (became very competent as ship�s captain, making many Catalina passages), skiing (expert) and entertaining at their mountain home in Lake Arrowhead. Larry had many, many friends from school days to his work days to his sailing days to the many friends he met at the dance clubs. He was buried at Belmont Parkk cemeetery, Fresno, CA near his mother's grave,
