Note: In 1851, John and Isabella were living at Witton Farm House, Witton with their 4 month old son Thomas. John was working as a farmer. According to the birth certificate of James in 1853, John worked as a Cowman at Witton Park. In 1861, John, Isabella and two new children James and Mary were living at 4 Moor Place, Lancaster. James was in school and John was working as a an Agricultural Labourer.
