a. Note:   George was born George Emil SANDOR in Wisconsin in 1900. The name was changed to SANDERS about 1947, when my father was 18.
  It appears that George may be listed twice in the 1920 census. There is a Joseph SANDOR (Slovak born 1899), his wife Mary and their daughter Josephine (born Sept. 1919 in PA), listed in Lower Yoder Twp on Virginia Ave. Living with them is his brother George, 19 and born in PA. I think this may be George Emil SANDOR with his brother Joseph. He was also listed with his mother in Jackson Twp.
  George was married to Sue GUNEA for a short time before he married my grandmother in 1928. Sue and their infant child are buried in Johnstown. Their daughter died of "Eclampsia" in Johnstown. Sue died of tuberculosis in 1927.
  Frank SABOL was living with the family in 1930. My father says Frank was one of George's best friends. George's brother Frank SANDOR (Uncle Frank SANDERS) was also living with them in 1930.
