Anderson Co. where Anna hadworked. 1930: Now recorded as wife of Ernest Simon Lyden.Moved to 4415 Robinson St., Duluth, MN. 1939: Anna and Simonmove to 1405 East 9th St., Duluth, MN. 1942-1945 Sewed forNorweigen Relief 1945: There is no city directory due to WWII.and no further information. Her adoptive son, William RobertLyden, said many times that he could not have wished for abetter mother, even if his birth mother had lived. Obituary: 30August 1944. Mrs. E.S. Lyden of 1405 East 9th St. died at aDuluth Hospital yesterday. A resident of Duluth for the last40 years she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, 1102 East8th St.. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Gail H.and Glenn E. of Duluth, MN and William R., with the Navy AirCorps in Memphis TN., 4 sisters; Miss Pearl T. Anderson, Mrs.L. Verness, and Mrs. Gule Peterson, Minneapolis, and Mrs. JohnRunquist, Duluth, MN., a brother, Henry A. Anderson, Carlstad,NM., and two grand children. Funeral Notice: 2 September 1944Funeral services for Mrs. E.S. Lyden of 1405 E. 9th St. will beheld Saturday afternoon at 3:30 from the Trinity LutheranChurch, 11th Avenue East and Eighth street, the Rev. Walter D.Lyngdal officiating.
