Note: After Charles, her husband died, she had to raise a family much on herown. Howshe did it I do not know, but she managed to raise a wonderful familyof whichany mother could be proud. I am sure some of the older oneshelped. I firstremember her when she lived by herself in Youngstown, Pa. UnclePaul and Isadore both had farms near by. She was crippled then with arthritis butshe couldget around. Afterward she lived with Aunt Evelyn, then in anapartment in Uncle Paul's house. and spent the last five or six years at my mother's house, where she died peacefully with many of her children andgranchildren around.
