  Tony Jack SATTERFIELD
 Johnson City, Tennessee — Tony Jack "T.J." SATTERFIELD, 82, died Tuesday (24 Dec 2002) in the Johnson City Medical Center.
  He was a lifelong resident of Johnson City and a son of Civil War Veteran, the late Augustus SATTERFIELD and Louise Marie "Lou" McCurry Miller SATTERFIELD.
  Mr. SATTERFIELD was a World War II Army Veteran and member of the Johnson City Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 2108.
  He worked as a sheet metal fabricator. Later, he owned SATTERFIELD Grocery in Johnson City and MILLIGAN Grocery near Milligan College.
  Mr. SATTERFIELD was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.
  He was honored in June 2001 for being a Real Son of Civil War Veteran by Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and in June 2002 for his service in the Pacific during World War II by the State of Ten- nessee and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
  Mr. SATTERFIELD was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Cordelia Snowden SATTERFIELD; four half brothers, Isaac MILLER, Arthur Earl "Jeep" MILLER, and Stacy Lawrence "Barney" CHURCH, all three of Johnson City, and John Wesley "Wes" CHURCH of Newland, North Carolina; two half sisters, Margorie "Margie" WALTERS, Phoenix, Arizona and Arizona Satterfield BOOHER, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  Surviving are three sons, Jack W. SATTERFIELD, Kingsport, Bob SATTERFIELD and Ronald L. SATTERFIELD, both of Johnson City; two daughters, Carolyn PATRICK and Miss Rosa M. SATTERFIELD, both of Johnson City; half sister. Nancy Miller DANAHY, Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
  Calling hours are from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, Johnson City.
  Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Harold JONES and the Rev. Bill GREER officiating.
  Committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Burial Park.
  Active pallbearers will be Kenneth SNOWDEN, Eddie SNOWDEN, Tommy SNOWDEN, William MARTIN, Eddie LeSUER and Tony MILLER.
  Honorary pallbearers will be Frank KIMBOROUGH, Roy VINES, Dr James EVANS, Rosaminda HUSMILLO,
 Julie RODEBACK and James CARDER.
