  LAND RECORDS: following Henry's death, his widow Melinda and children Joseph F., Melinda E., Mary G., Henry, William and James M. gave permission to the Commissioners of Highways, order dated 31 Dec 1836, for the Town of Mount Pleasant to construct a highway through their property "running easterly from Spring Street to the Highroad lately the Highland Turnpike," later known as South Highland Ave.; this road is still called Waller Ave.--The C., p. 19.
