Notes
a. Note:   [family.FBK.FTW] Macbeth Fionnladh was the Commander in the Forces of King Duncan I, King of Scotland. He was also Chieftain of the Moray district. He murdered the king, and the clan Fionnladh was banished. They went underground by using the name Farguharson and using the Farguharson tartan. He was killed by the former king's son, Malcolm Cranmore 17 years later, in 1057 during battle. (facts stated in family tree #4408) The Farguharson tartan is shown in the book, "The Clans, Septs & Regiments of the Scottish Highlands," by Frank Adam, tartan #20 (available at the Yakima Valley Library, reference section)
