Note: Nicholas Greenberry was named Deputy Governor from 1693-94 ========== Nicholas Greenberry, his wife Anne, and their two children, Charles and Katherine, and three servants, arrived in the ship "Constant Friendship," in 1674. He was on a comission with Maj. John Hammond, Maj. Edward Dorsey, Mr. John Bennett, Hon. John Dorsey, Mr. Andrew Norwood, Cpt. Phillip Howard, and Mr. James Saunders. This commission laid out the town of Annapolis. He is mentioned as being given the title Governor although there is no mention of when he was Governor.
