a. Note:   Thomas King, 1754: Calvert County, MD In the name of God Amen, the last Will and Testament of Mr. Thomas King. In the first I Will my soule to God Almighty and that my body be decently buried. Item -- I give and bequeath my beloved sister Margaret Hillary five shillings current money. Item -- To my beloved sister Cave Williams five shillings current money. Item -- I will and bequeath to my son-in-law John Brooke a young bay horse called and known by the name Ranter. I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha King two thirds of all my personal estate. Item -- I give and bequeath all the remaining part of my personal estate to my beloved brother Francis King, also I will and bequeath all my real estate to my said brother Francis King, to him and his heirs for ever. Last of all I consitute and appoint my loving wife Martha King and my beloved brother Francis King to be joint Executors, November the 18th in the year of our Lord 1754. witnesses L. Hollyday, Ch.
