Note: Originally settled in Virginia. On July 8, 1651, Thomas Todd "Shipwright" was granted 100 acres on "ye south side of the Severn River" which included the oldest portion of the present town of Annapolis. NOTE: Thomas Todd, the Shipwright, was deceased by September 14, 1671, when Lancelott Todd "Planter" and Cornelius Howard "Gent." were guardians to the orphan John.
