After her husband died she lived with her parents on Throop Ave. MILDRED YOUNG, 79, RETIRED SECRETARY UPPER SADDLE RIVER--Mildred Young, 79, formerly of New Brunswick, died Thursday at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Born in New Brunswick, she had lived in Upper Saddle River since 1964. Mrs. Young had been a secretary at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, before retiring in 1965. A former member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Brunswick, she was a member of the Reformed Church of Upper Saddle River. Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Kurschner of Upper Saddle River; a brother, Frank W. Stamm of Edison; a sister, Margaret Stevens of Dorset, Vt. and three grandchildren. Services were held yesterday at the C.C. Van Emburgh Inc. Mortuary Chapel, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
