a. Note:   MRS. HARRY VON STADEN Mrs. Myra E. Stemshorn Von Staden, wife of Harry Von Staden, of Woodhaven, L.I., died yesterday a few hours before the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Stemshorn, of Woodhaven, formerly of this city, who died in the Long Island town on Sunday from a heart condition and stroke which she suffered following the holiday season. Mrs. Von Staden was not aware of the death of her mother as shortly after Mrs. Stemshorn was stricken the daughter suffered a stroke. The body of Mrs. Von Staden will be brought to this city for interment in Evergreen Cemetery Saturday morning at 11:45 o'clock. Funeral services will be held at the Shalins Funeral Home, 8402 Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven, tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. Funeral services for her mother, Mrs. Stemshorn, were held last night at the funeral home of William H. Quackenboss and Son, 156 Livingston Avenue, and was largely attended. There were many floral remembrances. A delegation was present from Star Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, of Milltown. The Rev. Carl H. Gramm officiated. Interment was made this morning in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Stemshorn was a daughter of the late Peter A. and Mary Schwalb Stamm, of Ryder's lane.
