a. Note:   Harry G. Hunter Funeral for Harry Glynn Hunter Sr., 51, of 1214 Seventh Ave. SE, who died Wednesday in a Huntsville hospital, was to be today at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Ralph Bates officiating, with burial in Decatur Cemetery, Shelton Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Betty Joyce Hunter, Decatur; two sons, Timothy Lee Hunter and Harry Glynn Hunter Jr., both of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Glynda Gandy, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Betty Dean Lunney, Decatur; and three nieces. Pallbearers were to be E. R. Clements III, Billy Jack Smith, Wayne Ponder, Dick Goode, Burleson Scruggs and Claude Nelson. Honorary pallbearers were to be C. C. Barnette, Ike Johnson, Bobby McNutt, Ed Lott, Ray Spence, Earl Peete and Bill Vaughn. Mr. Hunter was bail bondsman for four years and formerly owned AAA Ambulance Service. He was also a constable for eight years. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Boys Ranch. ~ DECATUR DAILY Friday, May 11, 1979
