Note: Marshall Co., TN, Deed Bk. R, page 402, Oct. 21, 1858 Rebecca C.Lunn to Tennessee E. Bills Whereas heretofore to wit: 1st May, 1856, Ephraim Hunter conveyed to the undersigned Rebecca C. Lunn in her own right free from the custody and control of her husband B.L.G. Lunn and in no wise subject to his debts, the following described tract or parcel of land situated in District No 6 of Marshall Co, Tennessee and on the Turnpike east of Farmington and Beginning at a pile of rocks����. (the deed goes on to describe the land in the deed above)�..containing by estimation three acres be the same more or less. Now for the consideration of Two hundred and seventy-five dollars to said Rebecca C. Lunn in hand paid, we do hereby sell and convey the same to her in her own right free from the custody and control of her said husband John A. Bills and in no way and at no time liable to any of his debts contracts or liabilities whatever. And we do covenant with said Tennessee E. Bills and her heirs and assignees that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land, have a good right to convey it and that the same in unencumbered. And we bind ourselves our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title of said land and every part thereof to said Tennessee E.
