Note: Edna Etolia Hunter Graveside service for Edna Etolia Hunter, 93, of Decatur will be Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. W.K. Stephenson officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hunter died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1910, in Hanceville to Elzy Vest and Dora Griffin Vest. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hunter Sr.; and one daughter, Mary Faye Hunter. Survivors include one son, Dr. James W. Hunter Jr. of Decatur; three granddaughters, Margaret Hunter of Pelham, Elizabeth Hunter Naramore and husband Chet and Mary Jane Staude and husband Kent, all of Charlotte, N.C.; one grandson, James W. Hunter III of Los Angeles; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Vest of Birmingham. Published in the Decatur Daily on 12/19/2003.
