Note:   "Germans to America" Ship: Zaandam - Amsterdam to New York Date: 25 June 1888 Passengers: Peter Von Scheven, Caeciel Von Scheven, and Josephine Von Scheven The name Cecelia Steinkoehler and her place of birth are found on Josephine Von Scheven's death certificate. It appears that Peter and Cecilia accompanied Josephine to America in 1888, but did not stay. To date there is no record of them in America, except for the ship manifest. Their older 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Chatrina, came to Chicago with the Bisdorf family in 1883. The first 2 children of their daughter, Elizabeth, were named after them.
