Note: 1850 Federal Census for District #2, Nelson Co., Kentucky - Page 357[Thomas Mattingly II.FTW] Thomas reportedly was married in 1854 but he was enumerated as single on the 1860 census of his parents home. By 1880 he is found in Barr, Daviess County, Indiana married to his second wife and with six children in the home. Also in the home were Teresa Meltton, age 74 and Joseph Gootee age 16. There was no child named Albert on this census.
