a. Note:   [potts1.FTW] Sallie married a Judge Merritt Griffin in a Justice of the Peace in Jefferson Co. They married 29 Oct. 1866 and lived in Bullitt Co. near Mt. Washington in the 1900 census. In 1870, they and son, Henry Caple, were living in Scott Co., Ind. (notice change of spelling Caple and Cable.) Nelson was born around 1808. He married Sarah(Sallie) in Harrison Co.,Ind. on Oct. 25, 1832.Nelson was the son of Andrew Caple born in 1771 in Baltimore Co., Md. Andrew died in 1843 in Fairdale, Jefferson Co., Ky. Andrew married Mary (Lockery or Lochery)Lacey. She was born around 1768 probably in Westmoreland Co., Pa. daughter to Capt. Jerrmiah Lochery(also spelled Laughery), of North Ireland. She(Mary) died after the 1840 census. Andrew Cable on 1790 Census of Baltimore Co., Md. one male aged "over 16 yrs." in household (living alone) probably Nephew of Samuel Caple of there who parents were William and Susannah (Parsons) Caple.
