He had a great way of interfacing with them. Sam played semi-pro baseball in early 1900's and also liked all of the major sports. He liked to buy novelty toys from street vendors in NYC. Worked for many years in NYC as bookkeeper and received no pension. He had saved his money by puchase of Savings Bonds. Long time resident of Bogota,NJ. Also lived for awhile in Oakland,NJ and Cape May,NJ.
