Note: Edward was the studious one of the family. He graduated from high school in the Bronx, NY. He then landed a job with the W.J.Sloan Company in NYC. He was transferred to Chicago and ended up with the Alexander Smith Carpet Co. He remained with them until his retirement. His place of work was located in the huge Merchandise Mart. While in Chicago he married Priscilla Reeb. They took up residence in the Pearson Hotel where they remained until his retirement. Ed amassed some ammount of wealth with lots of Gilette Razor Blade stock. Ed and wife moved to New Jersey after his retirement. After his wife's death he bought a town house on Bogard St in River Edge,NJ. His niece, Mary Hering, looked after him right up until his death. He died while in the care of State of New Jersey's Greystone Hospital. His body is interned in a Masaleum in Hackensack Cemetery, NJ. It is the same masaleum his wife was interned in. Ed and his wife never had any children of their own. He loved kids and use to enjoy his trips to New Jersey to visit his brother and sisters, where he could enjoy his nephews and nieces.
