Notes
a. Note:   William was born somewhere on the border of Vermont/Canada. Most document list Vermont as place of birth. It is my belief that the town was Derbyline thus the following scenario. His dad was a sawyer for the Haskill Lumber Mill. The house the Fisher family was living in was supplied by the Haskill Mill. The house was located directly on the U.S / Canadian border. The front of the house was in the U.S. and the rear in Canada. William was born in the rear of the house. However he is listed as a U.S.citizen. William had two younger brothers and two younger sisters all born in the same house. In 1879 William migrated with his parents from Vermont to Ashland, Wisconsin. He was employed as sawyer along with his dad at the lumber mill. In 1892 he married Euphemia Wright and had a family. Euphemia died in 1907. In 1909 William married his housekeeper, Helen Shramek, they moved to Nymore, [a Bemidji suburb] Minnesota and started a second Fisher family. In 1916 the Fisher family moved to Rose Lake, Idaho. His wife Helen died in 1932. In 1948 William was employed as a sawyer at Sand Pointe, Idaho. He died in Courd 'Alene, Idaho in 1954. In all he sired 18 children by his two wives.
