Note: The Family rumour is that one of Thomas William John Worledge'sgrandmothers was Spanish. Somehow the name Caractacus comesinto this story. The name Diddemar which is how it is spelt inthe church records of her marriage could be De Demar or D'Demar.IE Maria D. Demar or Maria D'demar. As Maria makes her mark onthings and doesn't sign one assumes she has no way of knowing ifher name is being spelled correctly.
