By 1945, the company had grown and was incorporated under state laws and obtained Interstate Commerce Commission and Public Utilities Commission on Ohio authority for hauling building material, liquid chemicals and general freight. For twenty years A.J. Weigand was a major force in the transportation in Ohio of steel, package freight and bulk liquids. A.J.
