Note: Gerald Black Bruce - Gerald Edwin Black 73 died Sunday November, 17 2002 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was a retired service station manager and was a U. S. Navy veteran. Grave side services will be at 3 P.M. today at Turkey Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Earl Alexander officiation. Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include three sons, Dean, Jerry Dale, and Randy Black all of Oxford; five sisters, Margie Chandler of Bruce, Dorothy Tallent of Vardaman, Barbara Gunter of Pearl, Verdie Moore of Mooreville, and Margie Mann of Houston; four brothers Rupert Bruner of Oxford, James Black and Junior Black of Houston,, and Jerry D. Black of Vardaman; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon until service time today. from the Northeast MS Daily Journal
