Note: W. B. Wright Walter Barney Wright W. B. Wright, 61 of Derma, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at his home. He was born September 26, 1938 in Chickasaw County. He was a member of Bently Baptist Church and he was a retired farmer. Funeral service was Friday at 2 P. M. at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Morris and Bobby Fletcher officiating. Burial was in Midway Cemetery in Vardaman. Pallbearers were Bobby Wright, Dawson Wright, Jeffery Wright, Jason Wright, Harvey Wright, Charles Wright, and Bud Russell. Survivors include five sons, Bobby Wright, Vardaman; Dawson Wright, Houston; Jeffery Wright, Calhoun City; Jason Wright, Houston; Harvey Wright, Derma three sisters, Martha Murphree, Houlka; Sue Lovorn, Vardaman; Patsy Callahan, Houston; one brother Melvin Wright, Banner; three grandchildren an one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Edithe Thacker Wright, and two brothers Edward and Jessie Wright.
