a. Note:   Dye 1745 - 1992 by Clifford Dye Mavis never married and has no children. Mavis Dye Vardaman - Service for Mavis Dye, 71, who died April 27, 2003, were held 2 p. m. April 30, 2003 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Hill officiating. Interment was held in New Liberty Cemetery. Miss Dye was a homemaker and a member of Duncan Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother R.L. (Bosie) Dye of Calhoun City; tow sister Zelda Walls of Houlka, Mossella Bitteit of Vista, California. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Edith Albern Dye, Vera Bailey, J. D. (Bob) Dye, Maxine Dye, Realth Glen Dye, James Wayne Dye and Emma Lou Mann. Pallbearers were Jule McKinney, Joch Ferguson, Kent Dye, Baily Gordon, Sonny Bailey and Roy James Bailey. Mavis Dye Calhoun City - Mavis Dye, 71, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 at her home. She was born May 25, 1931, to Wiley Roscoe Dye and Alma Clementine Brannon Dye. She was a homemaker and a member of Duncan Hill Baptist Churc Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman with the Rev. Benny Hill officiating. Burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery in Vardaman. Survivors include a brother, R.L. "Bosie" Dye of Chalhun City; two sisters, Zelda Walls of Houlka and Mossella Bittleit of Vista Calif. She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Editha Allvern Dye, Vera Bailey, J.D."Bob" Dye, Maxine Dye, Reath Glen Dye, James Wayne Dye and Emma Lou Mann. Pallbearers will be Jule McKinney, Joch Ferguson, Kent Dye, Baily Gordon, Sonny Bailey, and Roy James Bailey. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
