Listed in SAR's Graves of Patriot Ancestors, "1761-1841, Pioneer Cemetery Beech Grove, Coffee Co., TN, Private, SC, Margaret Knox." The following information was in the "notes" for Isaac Eoff on World Family Tree #1285, Vol. #7: "A short time before he was 16 yrs. of age Isaac Alexander Eoff went into the Army in place of his father who was drafted in Chester County in South Carolina. The name of the Captain who commanded him in service was John Mills. Soon after he fought under a volunteer company under Alexander Fagin who fought at Black Stocks, and Fish Dam Ford. The D.A.R. has put a marker on his grave. He was in the Battle when Sumpter was defeated, and Eutaw Springs. He was allowed a pension on August 7 1832."
