Note: Obit: Stephensport Special Mrs. Elizabeth DOWELL HORSLEY died at ther home near here November 1, at 6:40 am following several months illness. She was aborn May 29, 1900 and was married to Owen Horsley in 1018. The husband and two sons, Albert and Nathaniel, survive. Also surviving are on sister, Mrs. Paul SMITH of Sample (Annie Dowell), 2 brothes Herbert Dowell, Lodiburg and Noah Dowell, Lodiburg and several nieces and nephews. IN 1926 she united with the Methodist Church here, remaining a faithful member until death. In her last illness, she ws faithfully cared for by her niece Miss Mae Alice Horsley, who had lived in the home for the past two years. Funeral services were conducted at the residence on Wednesday at 11:00 am, by Rev. DR Gant, after which the body was removed to Sample for burial.
