a Willis Bobo was in Carroll Co. Tn Census 1860, age 43. He married a
Mary Jane Gregory 14 Oct 1851 in Carroll, TN. Mary remarried 6 Jan 1868
so Willis died before that, probably in civil war. A Willis Bobo,
confederate Captain is referenced in War of the Rebellion Series 1 Vol
XXX11, Part 111, page 635 Ch XL1V Correspondence, ect., write up was
not good His troops were taking supplies, livestock ect. for their own
use and profit and not for the cause. Index p 918 references Willis Bobo
on p 635. p.55,
