 1900.Absalom Hunt JR. sold this land to Beltz in 1926.On final approval
 of homestead Ab Hunt had planted 189 fruit trees, 1500 forest trees, and
 strung two miles of three wire fence postd.When visiting in 1939 all
 structures were gone. Only evidence that anyone had lived there was an
 archway to property and some rose bushes. Maybe a victim of the drought
 during the 1930's?Ab Sr's estate probated 10 Apr 1920, No. 744 Probate
 Index. Appearance Docket Book 2 Page 295, Cherokee, Alfalfa County,
 Oklahoma.His estate was awarded to his son,Absalom F Hunt Jr. in total
 comprising his 160 acre homestead. Probate #698, dated 5 Dec 1919
 Docket Book 2 p 248 was not persued..It was said that he was an invalid.
