a. Note:   William Flynn had his taxes paid by John Flynn commencing in 1790. Indicating his birth ca 1774, This is probably another of John Sr. sons.Flynn William, John pays his taxes in 1790-91. in 93-95 he pays his own in 1799 Evan Griffith pays them. This would indicate the possible death of John Sr. ca 1793. This appears to be the William Flynn who married Sarah Flinn on 19 Jan 1796. At the time, Sarah was of age (i.e., 21) and her parents deceased. Marriage bondman was Dennis Griffith. A witness was John Griffith. William Flynn, son of John Flynn, m. Sarah Flinn (Flynn) 19 Jan 1796. Bondsmen were Dennis Griffith and John Griffith. (Ref: Fauquier Co., VA Marriage Bonds 1759-1854 and Marriage Returns 1785-1848, by John K.
