a. Note:   This is Sandy Cramer. I checked the photo album for the dates for Frances Ashby Sinclair death. The plaque at the cemetary says she was born April 17, 1862.and died January 9, 1948. I have her newspaper obiturary and it says she had 8 children. They are Joseph Sinclair of Middleburg Va, Charles (my grandfather) of Middleburg, Va., John L. of Warrenton Va.,Elizabeth Sinclair Shackelford of The Plains Va.,Clara Sinclair Rector of Herndon Va., Ruth Sinclair Leidinger, Lucy Sinclair Jacobs, and Mary Sinclair Jefferies of Oaklands. Oaklands was the family farm. I thought it was Yelverton until I saw the clipping.
