The Wilson Family bible which he started list his birth and d eath . in it, The family has listed the deaths of several of his children who moved to other parts of the country. his marriage can be found in prince geo rges county md. By 1830 he and family are living in Loudon county va. He is l isted as a ranger( a minor officer of the court ) 1830 court records show him accused of selling Spirtous Liquiors of which he was acquited. . 1841 accord ing to a chancery suit in Loudon ( ambler vs Ambler) John Brought at auction in Leesburg property that had previously belonged to John Hawley totaling a pproximately 195 acres. By 1845 John had fallen on difficult times and the on ly real property that he held was an interest in that parcel of land. August 1845 , according to the court records in Loudon and Fairfax counties , John h ad to declare himself insolvent , according to cort documents at the time of his death he owned land in Marlboro Md.
