Note: William Flynn Was one of the pioneers of Kentucky. He is said to have decended from old Colional American Family of Irish ancestry. He was a substanial Farmer and lived to be over 80 years old . Abstacts of Wills, Administrations, and Marriages of Fauquier Co., VA. 1759 - 1800). William Flynn, son of Michael Flynn, m. Ann Stinson, daughter of Mathew Stinson 19 Jan 1799. (Ref: Fauquier Co. VA Marriage Bonds 1759-1854 and Marriage Returns 1785-1848, by John K. Gott). !William Flynn was probably the 2nd son of Michael Flynn; he was possibly born in Fauquier Co., VA. When he signed the deed along with his siblings selling his share of the land after their mother's death to his brother, John Flynn, his wife was named Ann. He appears on tax lists in Clark Co., KY but does not appear after 1822. At that time he appeared as the only male over 21 in the family.
