a. Note:   Elizabeth Lewis Goold was badly pitted with smallpox on her face. She was an accomplished pianist and singer. Elizabeth lived in a cave when she first came to SLC. Very hard existence. Elizabeth came to visit her family at my home in Bumett, Indiana, and was still very poor. Have picture of her with her brothers and sister. When she was leaving to go back to SLC, all the brothers and my g-grandmother stuffed money handkerchiefs in her clothes to help with her subsistence. More to come, Elaine.
