a. Note:   THE PORTH GAZETTE Saturday 25th March 1905 DEATH Page 4 (last page) We regret to record the death at an early age of Mr Evans, North Street. He was a son of a prominent official connected with the Dowlais Works, and his early demise is much deplored. THE MERTHYR EXPRESS Saturday April 1st 1905 Local Intelligence Page 6 OBITUARY - We regreet to record the death of Mr Willie Evans, the youngest son of Mr Wm. Evans JP, Brynteg, who died at Porth on Thursday week after a very short and severe attack of pneumonia. Deceased was a most affable young fellow, and very much liked by all who knew him. The funeral took place very quietly at Cefn Cemetry on Saturday afternoon.
