Note:   Barthold is buried in Highland Park Cemetery Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Barthold is shown being born before his parents were married because he was adopted by the Strebels. Aunt Wanetta says he was born a Holley. 7/2/03 Could not find Barthold in the 1910 census. 5/10/04 Cleveland, Ohio 1900 city directory lists "Berthold" living with Amelia (Jacobs) Strebel. Harry M. Cook is also living there. 1900 census confirms this same information. 6/23/04 Have copy of World War I draft registration card 6/29/08 The 1930 US Federal census has him listed with his first name spelled "Baothold". 6/30/08 Found Barthold, Hattie "E", Dorothy and Linda listed in the 1910 US Federal census for Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio sheet number 3A lines 10-13. Ancestry.com had it indexed under the last name of Strabala not Strebel.
