Note: Elliott - Taggart Vows Read August 23 (1941) Miss Maxine Elliott of Griggs and William Taggart were united in marriage August 23 in Guymon Methodist church. The ceremony was read by Rev. D. R. Miller of the Methodist church of Guymon. Miss Minnie Elliott, sister of the bride, was her attendant and Sam Cayton was the groom's attendant. The bride and groom, who are graduates of the Plainview high school, are at home in Goodwell, where they are working on their degrees. Mrs. Taggart is majoring in home economics and Mr. Taggart is majoring in animal husbandry. For the past twelve months, Mr. Taggart has been employed in the county agriculture office at Boise City. Mr. and Mrs. Taggart have just returned from New Mexico, where they spent their honeymoon.
