The Reverend Richmond H. Gessmer, Rector of Christ Church officiated and burial was in Rural. Mr. Taggart was a former resident of Norwich and was a member of the Norwich Lodge, No. 302 F and A. M. At the grave today the masonic burial service was conducted by Aeonian Lodge No. 679 and a large delegation of Oswego masons were in attendance. June 6, 1906 Oswego Daily Times
