Note: Death of Mary Elliott Mary Janiece Elliott, only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. O. Elliott died Monday at the Elliott home at Laton, Cal. Death was caused by convulsions. She was seven years old July 10. When about a year old she had a severe spasm and sickness. She was never able to either walk or talk. Mr. Elliott brought the body here. The funeral service was held at 9 o'clock Friday morning. Father Healy officiating. It was a very largely attended funeral. The body was laid to rest in the Grafton cemetery. The pall bearers were young girls, Mary Fitzgerald, Mary Real, Margaret Burke, Marguerite Murray, Ila and Ruth Kerwin. Nebraska Signal September 13, 1923
