a. Note:   Both sons buried in Shiloh Cemetery. Mary J. King is listed on a 1902 tax list in Johnson County. There appears to be a will filed for Mary J. King #319 in Volume G, 1905-1916. 1870 Census - Post Oak, Johnson County, MO King, Mary 47, MO keeping house RE - 4500, Personal 2,000 Robert 20, MO, works on farm Finas 21, MO, farm May 26, MO keeping house Bell 2, MO 1880 Census living with Samuel Finis & family. Her father listed as born in VA & mother b. TN. 1900 Census - Post Oak, Johnson County, MO King, Mary June 1821, 79, widow, no children, MO, VA, TN Mrs. Mary J. King Passed away at the home of her son J. H. King, near Magnolia, on December 5th, at the ripe old age of 90 years. The funeral was held at the Shiloh church on the 7th. Mrs. King was one of the staunch old Christian characters of the county. Her husband, R. M. King, was killed in the civil war. She leaves six children, one of whom was the late Rev. S. Finis King. Her memory will ever be cherished by all who knew her.
